Pearl Builders Group Ltd, a leading commercial and residential real estate project management company with over 20 years of experience, is seeking an experienced Strategic Financial Operations Manager.

Estimated Salary: $70,000 - $100,000 per annum

We manage projects from construction to property management, encompassing complete design/build services. Our work ranges from managing completely new builds, refurbishments, and fit-outs for companies.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform cost accounting functions including job costing, profitability, variance analysis, inventory valuation, reconciliations, and auditing.
  • Develop and maintain profitability analyses by revenue type and operational division, as well as benchmarking and operating efficiency targets.
  • Coordinate monthly procedures related to month-end activities, including accruals for revenues and costs.
  • Prepare detailed cash, cost, and revenue forecasts, including reporting to management.
  • Review monthly job expenses and revenues with management.
  • Create and review daily variance reports against plan to ensure effective financial management.
  • Explain financials and reserves to internal and external auditors.
  • Maintain timely and accurate completion of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial accounting activities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Business Administration, with preference for professional accounting designations (CA, CPA, CMA).
  • Strong Cost Systems background and excellent analytical skills.
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles, thorough knowledge of accounting procedures, and deep comprehension of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Proficiency in Information Systems and MS Excel, including familiarity with VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables.
  • Excellent analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
