Job Description:

Cabico is seeking an experienced Industrial Engineering Development Specialist to join our team. As an Industrial Engineering Development Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing work study, inspecting processes, conducting work measurement or other studies, collecting and compiling operational or experimental data, and collecting and analyzing data and samples. You will also be responsible for developing manufacturing and processing procedures.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need a strong background in industrial engineering and experience working with mapping and data visualization software, AutoCAD, and other relevant tools. You will also need excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Salary:

The estimated salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.

Fabrication experience is an asset for this role. You will have the opportunity to work with a variety of equipment and technologies, and to develop and implement new processes and procedures.

Area of Specialization:

This role involves the development of production processes, work planning, estimating, measuring, and scheduling. You will have the opportunity to work with a variety of stakeholders, including production staff, management, and external partners.

Transportation/Travel Information:

Cabico is located in a urban area with public transportation available. However, we encourage candidates to drive to the office, as parking is available.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:

This role involves a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. You will be required to distinguish between colours and to work in a fast-paced environment.
