At DELTA AJ HOLDINGS INC., we are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load and Unload Goods: Safely load and unload goods from trucks, ensuring that all cargo is secure and properly handled.
  • Operate and Drive Trucks: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain the condition of the vehicle, including tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
  • Payment and Record-Keeping: Pay and receive payments for goods, and accurately record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
Requirements
  • Certifications: Hold a valid Air Brakes Endorsement and a Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks, and other 2-axle vehicles).
  • Documentation: Possess knowledge of accident or incident reports, driver logbooks, inspection reports, maintenance and repair reports, and trip reports.
  • Work Conditions: Be able to work in physically demanding conditions, handling heavy loads and working long hours.
Work Environment
  • Work Language: English.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Hours: 40 to 60 hours per week.
