About the Opportunity

As a Sales and Marketing Director at The Algonquin Resort, Marriott Autograph Collection, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and increasing brand awareness in the region.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team of hospitality professionals who are passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences. As a Sales and Marketing Director, you will be accountable for developing and implementing a comprehensive sales and marketing strategy that aligns with the hotel's business objectives.

You will work closely with the General Manager and other department heads to ensure seamless execution of the strategy and achieve budgeted top-line revenues. Your role will also involve leading and developing a high-performing sales team to maximize sales and profits.

About the Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Hotel Administration or Business preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience, preferably in the hospitality industry
  • Marriott Brand Experience an asset
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, computer literacy
  • Ability to inspire, lead and develop a team by example
  • Well organized, detail oriented with excellent follow-up
About the Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, you can expect a range of benefits including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
