Flex Academy, a division of HCOS, is seeking a qualified Innovations Teacher to join our team. As a key member of our faculty, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational experience of our students.

Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and innovative educator to teach grades 6-12 in a flexible educational model. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering quality instruction, assessing student progress, and collaborating with colleagues to create a supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles
  • Utilize digital curriculum and educational tools to enhance student learning
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide initiatives
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices
Requirements
  • BC Certified Teacher
  • Ability to adapt to a start-up environment and manage varied workloads
  • Alignment with HCOS Foundational Beliefs and KCCS Teacher Profile Attributes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Technologically proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Drive
