Job Title: Innovations Teacher

Flex Academy, a division of HCOS, is seeking a highly motivated and innovative educator to join our team as an Innovations Teacher. This is a .3-1.0 FTE onsite position in grades 6-12, with opportunities to teach in various specialty areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality instruction for academic and spiritual growth of students, utilizing digital curriculum and innovative teaching methods.
  • Plan, teach, assess, and report, maintaining effective classroom management and collaboration with other departments.
  • Participate in school and staff meetings, and maintain daily communication with students, families, and staff.
  • Actively contribute to the staff team and support the development of a collaborative and innovative learning environment.
Requirements:
  • BC Certified Teacher
  • Ability to manage and adapt to varied workloads in a start-up environment
  • Demonstrated commitment to KCCS Foundational Beliefs and HCOS Teacher Profile Attributes
  • Excellent relational communication skills, critical thinking, and organizational skills
  • Proactive, systems thinking, and solution-oriented approach
  • Flexible, creative, and supportive attitude toward innovation and change
What We Offer:
  • .3-1.0 FTE depending on position
  • Competitive wage ($47,918 – $87,076 based upon 1.0 FTE, depends upon years of experience and education level)
