We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Culinary Director to join our team at Cafe La Foret. This is a full-time position that requires a minimum of 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in the culinary industry.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all culinary operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and staff management. They will work closely with our chefs and kitchen staff to ensure that our dishes meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Labor Cost Estimation: The Executive Culinary Director will be responsible for estimating labor costs and ensuring that they are within budget.
  • Menu Planning: They will plan menus that are creative, yet appealing to our customers' tastes, and ensure that they meet our quality standards.
  • Staff Management: The Executive Culinary Director will supervise the activities of sous-chefs, specialist chefs, chefs, and cooks, and be responsible for recruiting and hiring new staff members as needed.

Requirements
  • A secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in the culinary industry is preferred.

$65,000 - $75,000 per year, depending on experience.
