Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Content Manager to oversee the creation and publication of high-quality technical documents related to aerospace equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical writing, editing, and project management, with excellent communication and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of writers and editors to produce technical publications that meet customer requirements and industry standards.
  • Develop and implement content strategies to ensure timely and cost-effective production of technical documentation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information, provide guidance, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Liaise with customers to understand their needs and preferences, and negotiate contracts and agreements as necessary.
  • Analyze data and metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement, and develop strategies to enhance productivity and quality.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in technical writing, editing, or project management, preferably in a technical publications environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of meeting deadlines, managing multiple projects, and working effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of industry-standard software and tools, such as Adobe FrameMaker, Arbortext Epic Editor, and Microsoft Office.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team, with a strong commitment to quality, accuracy, and attention to detail.
