About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supply Chain Manager to join our team at Nanometrics. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading our global supply chain operations, ensuring the timely and cost-effective delivery of materials and services to support our business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Procurement: Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials and services.

  • Inventory Management: Oversee the management and optimization of inventory levels across all warehouses, ensuring accuracy and effectiveness through continuous improvement programs.

  • Logistics: Implement logistics strategies to support our global customer and supplier base, ensuring on-time delivery performance and meeting customer expectations.

  • Supply Chain Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks to the supply chain, ensuring stability and continuity of operations.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Experience: 8+ years of progressive experience in supply chain roles, including management experience.

  • Skills: Proven ability to define, build, and manage strong relationships with key suppliers and partners; excellent knowledge of supply chain and quality systems; contract negotiation experience.

  • Certifications: PMAC certification desirable; demonstrated experience in Six Sigma/LEAN manufacturing methodologies.
