Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Enterprise Resilience Specialist to lead our technology disaster recovery program at Definity. This role involves developing an integrated Disaster Recovery program, implementing processes, conducting ongoing testing, and ensuring data and services are built in a secure and resilient manner.

About the Role

This is a key position that requires collaboration with stakeholders and industry leaders to design and develop IT Disaster Recovery and business continuity strategies. The successful candidate will have hands-on experience in IT Disaster Recovery design, planning, and implementation in mid-sized to large enterprises across Cloud and On-Prem environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Configure and implement IT Disaster recovery solutions using standard industry tools, data replication technologies, and cloud-based recovery services.
  • Plan and execute regular IT Disaster recovery testing and validation exercises using automation, monitoring, and alerting tools as needed.
  • Lead IT Disaster Recovery incident response activities and provide expert guidance during crisis situations, collaborating with key technology and business leaders across the enterprise.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement, preparedness, and awareness within Definity, including incident response and communication tools like mass notification systems and collaboration platforms.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have 8+ years' experience in IT Disaster Recovery design, planning, and implementation. Additionally, they should have experience with IT Disaster Recovery program development, including critical elements such as Business Impact Analysis, Recoverability Assessment, Business and Technology Strategy Development, Planning, Process Creation, Testing, and Governance.
