Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Construction Helper to join our team at Gilco Interiors. As a key member of our construction team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth execution of our projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
  • Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades as required.
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt to meet project specifications.
  • Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs under the guidance of experienced construction professionals.
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials for reuse or recycling.
  • Respond to and clean up chemical spills and other contaminants to maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements
  • Will train on the job to develop the necessary skills and knowledge.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing project requirements.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills to ensure effective collaboration with colleagues and clients.
  • Commitment to environmental sustainability and a willingness to participate in green initiatives.
  • Availability to work 35-40 hours per week, with occasional overtime as required.
