SAP Functional Consultant Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Functional Consultant to join our team at ROSS. As a key member of our mid-market SAP practice, you will provide professional and effective functional consulting services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide hands-on implementation and configuration of SAP components
  • Offer input and advice on SAP capabilities and functions to customer organizations
  • Build positive client and peer relationships by understanding customer business and project scope
  • Identify potential opportunities for additional revenue generation
  • Develop analytical and insightful recommendations to meet deliverable targets and complete project tasks within budget and to customer satisfaction
  • Identify assignment conflicts or issues and communicate to Engagement Manager or Task leader
  • Assist in the development of client proposals
  • Participate in practice initiatives (functional/technical analysis, documentation development, trade booth participation etc)
  • Develop exposure to multiple functional areas and industries
  • Participate in recruiting and assist with the orientation of new consultants

Requirements:

  • At least two years or more of SAP functional experience
  • Functional hands-on experience in SAP implementation and configuration
  • Completed post-secondary degree
  • Well-developed consulting and communication skills
  • Exemplary record of achievement
  • Solid history of success at work
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Proven leadership and team-building abilities
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • No restrictions on travel throughout Canada and the USA
