At Cascadia Metals, we are committed to excellence in our operations. We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Operations Manager to join our team in Hamilton/Mississauga. The successful candidate will be responsible for building capabilities within their team to execute the overall warehouse and facilities strategy and achieve results for their department(s) today and tomorrow.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of warehouse operations management experience, ideally in a distribution environment. They will also have experience in a fast-paced, large volume, high-intensity environment, with high focus on meeting/exceeding measurable metrics. Additionally, they will have strong interpersonal skills with an understanding of diverse backgrounds and an emphasis on communication.

The Warehouse Operations Manager will be responsible for maintaining a safe and healthy work environment, overseeing production activities, and enforcing productivity, quality, and customer-service standards. They will also be responsible for developing system improvements, ensuring day-to-day maintenance of the facility, machinery, and equipment, and analyzing logistical requirements and problems.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of warehouse operations management experience
  • 5+ years' experience in a fast-paced, large volume, high-intensity environment
  • 3+ years' experience implementing continuous improvement programs
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Solution-oriented mentality and demonstrated problem-solving abilities
