Job Title: Regional Health & Safety Coordinator - Grand Prairie

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to fill the role of Regional Health & Safety Coordinator in the Grand Prairie area. This is a critical position that requires strong leadership, analytical thinking, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities


  • Develop and implement comprehensive corporate HSE management systems.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits of facilities, equipment, and work processes to identify potential hazards or risks.
  • Collaborate with regional managers and site supervisors to promote a culture of safety and ensure employees receive proper training and education.
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with regulatory authorities and client stakeholders.
  • Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, analyzing root causes and implementing corrective actions.
  • Support the company's annual COR auditing process and client audits as required.
  • Coordinate active WCB claims and monitor modified work programs.
  • Provide guidance and support to regional teams in conducting risk assessments and implementing control measures.
  • Prepare and present reports on health and safety performance metrics and trends.


Minimum Required Qualifications


  • High school graduation and completion of a diploma training program at a college or technical school.
  • Certification in Health and Safety, NCSO, CRSP, or a safety designation is an asset.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in safety or a related field, with at least 3+ years' experience as a health & safety coordinator.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office Software and experience with SharePoint and Internet search capabilities.
  • CSTS, H2S Alive, and Standard First Aid.
  • Proven experience as a health and safety professional with a focus on managing the company safety program and initiatives in a multi-site or regional capacity.
  • Strong knowledge of OH&S and federal health and safety regulations and standards.
  • Excellent analytical skills, effective communication and interpersonal skills, and strong leadership and influencing skills.
