Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Stock Associate to join our team at Walmart Canada. As a Stock Associate, you will play a critical role in maintaining a safe and efficient work environment by collecting shopping carts from the cart corrals, parking lot, and store perimeter, and returning them to a safe storage location.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Customer Service: Assist customers with carry outs or carry ins, verify receipts for proof of purchase, and respond promptly to requests at all registers.
  2. Cart Collection and Maintenance: Collect shopping carts from designated areas, maintain Cart Retrieval Log at Customer Service Desk, and ensure necessary logs are completed.
  3. Housekeeping and Safety: Follow established guidelines for occasional cleaning and maintenance of the restrooms, handle chemicals, and follow correct disposal procedures.
  4. Emergency Procedures: Adhere to safety and emergency procedures, including guidelines for hazardous communications, lockout/tagout, and blood borne pathogens.
  5. Team Collaboration: Contribute to a safe, clean, and hazard-free work environment by adhering to Company policy and procedures.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work independently and as part of a team, and be able to lift and move heavy objects. You will also need to be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to adapt to changing priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, experience in a retail or customer service environment would be an asset. Additionally, having a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
