Job Summary

As a General Merchandise Associate at Walmart Canada, you will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a well-organized store environment. Your responsibilities will include greeting customers, promoting products, and assisting with stocking and sales. Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving issues.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment by zoning and stocking merchandise.
  • Assist with front-end coverage and communicate with other associates to ensure floor coverage is maintained.
  • Contribute to a safe and hazard-free work environment by adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Stock merchandise, pick, and downstock as needed, and apply product protection when required.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will also need to be able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
