Restaurant Manager Job Description

Archie's Seafood Restaurants is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team. As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our business runs smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Budget Management: Analyze and manage the restaurant's budget to ensure profitability and make informed decisions about menu pricing, inventory, and labor costs.
  • Staff Management: Supervise and train a team of 16-20 staff members, including servers, bartenders, cooks, and kitchen staff, to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality food preparation.
  • Customer Service: Ensure that all customers receive exceptional service, addressing any complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory levels to ensure that we have the necessary supplies and ingredients to meet customer demand.
  • Marketing and Promotion: Participate in marketing plans and implementation to promote our restaurant and attract new customers.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a restaurant management role.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to multitask and work under pressure, and a strong attention to detail.
Work Environment

The Restaurant Manager will work in a fast-paced environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. The ideal candidate will be able to work under pressure and maintain a high level of productivity in a dynamic environment.
