Job Title: Counter Attendant, Restaurant

We are seeking a Counter Attendant to join our team at Wok Box. As a Counter Attendant, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, operating a cash register, and maintaining a clean and organized dining area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cleanliness and Sanitation: Clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts, and waste disposal units. Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs.
  • Dishwashing: Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware. Place dishes in storage area. Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand.
  • Food Preparation: Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items. Portion and wrap foods. Package take-out food.
  • Customer Service: Take customers' orders. Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs.
  • Housekeeping: Clean and sanitize kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment. Handle and store cleaning products. Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
  • Garbage and Recycling: Remove kitchen garbage and trash. Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors.
