Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Restaurant Counter Attendant to join our team at Wok Box. As a key member of our front-of-house team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing cash and credit transactions, and maintaining a clean and welcoming dining environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide prompt and courteous service to customers, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Manage cash and credit transactions accurately and efficiently, handling customer payments and making change as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including tables, chairs, and floors, to ensure a positive customer experience.
  • Restock supplies and ingredients as needed to maintain a fully stocked and operational kitchen and dining area.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service and efficient food delivery.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge in customer service, cash handling, and food safety.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service or customer-facing role.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask with ease.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
