Job Title: Security Analyst/Lead

The Security Analyst/Lead is a critical role at Onico Solutions, responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our client's computer, network, and cyber security. This position requires a strong understanding of information security principles and practices, as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Threat Identification and Response: Identify security threats from normal traffic throughout the day and respond to security incidents in a timely manner.
  • Security Solutions Design and Implementation: Design, configure, and implement security solutions to protect against unauthorized access, modification, destruction, and DDoS attacks.
  • Security Policy and Procedure Development: Define, implement, maintain, and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures to ensure compliance with industry best practices.
  • Security Audits and Compliance: Conduct internal and external security audits, including CSAE 3416 SOC II, customer security questionnaires, and lead security audits around finance.
  • Training and Knowledge Transfer: Provide training and transfer knowledge to other IT staff to improve systems and application securities.
Requirements:
  • 5 years of relevant experience in systems security
  • Hands-on experience managing/supporting/configuring Cisco firewalls
  • Working knowledge of various security technologies, including End Point Protection, Malware Protection, Patch Management, URL filtering, Identity and Access management (IAM), etc.
  • Proven ability to conduct research into Information Security issues and security products as required.
  • CCNA certification (as a minimum)
  • CISSP
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
  • Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Proven ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language
  • Highly self-motivated; able to work with minimal supervision
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Team-oriented and skilled in working within a collaborative environment

This is a permanent position located in Brampton, ON with an annual salary of $100,000.00 – $110,000.00.
