Liquor Store Supervisor Role
  • Education and Experience:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required for this position.
  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Assign sales workers to duties to ensure effective store operations.
    • Hire and train staff, or arrange for their training, to maintain high performance standards.
    • Authorize payments by cheque for store expenses.
    • Establish work schedules to meet business needs.
    • Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions.
    • Resolve customer complaints, supply shortages, and other issues that may arise.
    • Organize and maintain inventory levels to prevent stockouts and overstocking.
    • Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of sales workers to ensure efficient store operations.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
  • This role involves working in a fast-paced environment and requires the ability to work under pressure.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role is preferred.
  • Employment Type: Permanent
  • Working Hours: 32 hours per week
