Liquor Store Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Liquor Store Manager to join our team at Corner Store. As a Liquor Store Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our liquor store, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our store remains a top destination for liquor sales in the area.
Key Responsibilities:- Operational Management: Evaluate daily operations, plan and organize daily operations, manage staff and assign duties, and study market research and trends to determine consumer demand and potential sales volumes.
- Staff Management: Determine staffing requirements, recruit, hire, and supervise staff and/or volunteers, and resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that customers receive a welcoming and inclusive experience in our store.
- Accessibility and Inclusion: Provide physical, visual, and auditory accessibility accommodations, participate in government or community programs that support persons with disabilities, and offer mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for persons with disabilities.
- Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Participate in government or community programs that support newcomers and/or refugees, assist with immediate settlement needs, and support social and labour market integration.
- Support for Youth: Participate in government or community programs that support youth employment, offer on-the-job training, and provide mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for youth.
- Support for Veterans: Participate in government or community programs that support Veterans, offer mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities, and provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for Veterans.
- Support for Indigenous People: Participate in government or community programs that support Indigenous people, offer mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities, and provide cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees.
- Support for Mature Workers: Participate in government or community programs that support mature workers, apply hiring policies that discourage age discrimination, and offer mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for mature workers.
- Support for Visible Minorities: Participate in government or community programs that support members of visible minorities, apply hiring policies that discourage discrimination, and offer mentorship programs that pair members of visible minorities with experienced employees.
