We are currently seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Construction Site Assistant. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of our construction projects.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate records of site activities in the site journal.
  • Process workers' time sheets according to established procedures and obtain foreman approval.
  • Manage all site communications, including emails, directives, plans, and follow-up actions.
  • Prepare material requisitions for project needs.
  • Track inventory of equipment, tools, and materials received on site.
  • Generate concreting notices and calculate concrete quantities required.
  • Process subcontractor orders and confirm completion dates.
  • Manage change directives and update as-built plans to reflect project modifications.
  • Enforce strict adherence to health and safety regulations on site.
Qualifications
  • Possess a college diploma or Bachelor's degree in architectural or civil engineering, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Demonstrate prior experience within the construction industry.
  • Exhibit a strong understanding of reading and interpreting construction plans.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD software is advantageous.
  • Be able to travel between various project sites as required.
  • Hold a valid ASP construction certification.
  • Display autonomy, resourcefulness, initiative, and efficiency in your work approach.
