Focusing on making a significant impact on clean energy and people's lives, this full-time role invites you to join an innovative team. As a key member of the Installed Base Business Unit in Kincardine, Ontario, you will contribute to a proven team responsible for Buried Piping. This role includes:

  • Working under direct supervision to execute standard engineering tasks by applying established techniques and procedures to support Nuclear Facilities.
  • Carrying out assignments that involve planning and conducting complete tasks or portions of larger projects under the guidance of more experienced staff.
  • Providing technical expertise related to planning, designing, analyzing, constructing, and maintaining structures, systems, and components.
  • Offering engineering advice as needed.
  • Performing standard engineering assignments typically in areas of design, development, analysis, evaluation, testing, preparation of specifications, execution of field tasks, and resolution of field problems according to relevant standards.
  • Demonstrating duties and tasks associated with conceptual, preliminary, and detailed design processes.
  • SUPPORTING THE DESIGN AND MAINTENANCE OF BRUCE POWER'S BURIED PIPING PROGRAM.
  • Receiving assistance and instructions on unusual or complex features and possible solutions as needed.
  • Maintaining compliance with government, organization, and customer engineering standards.
  • Evaluating, selecting, and applying standard technical techniques, procedures, and criteria using judgment in making minor adaptations and modifications independently.
  • Collaborating on special projects as directed.
  • Executing other related duties and tasks as required.
  • Leveraging existing and/or acquired technical expertise to find improved technical solutions supporting the product life cycle/replacement of current Framatome technologies.
  • Actively participating in solving technical issues identified by project management, business line management, or by customer request with the objective to increase business opportunities for Framatome Canada Ltd.

This position involves up to 25% travel. Together we will enable clean, safe, and economical low-carbon energy to meet the global ambition for a better tomorrow.

We are seeking a dedicated individual to fill this role, offering a competitive salary of approximately $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. If you are passionate about clean energy and have a strong background in piping engineering, we encourage you to apply.
