Job Summary

As a key leader in our organization, the Director, Operations Performance will drive superior performance and business excellence across the North American region. This role requires a disciplined approach to analytics and entrepreneurial insights to identify opportunities for improvement and implement changes that maintain a competitive advantage.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement a continuous improvement focus across the 19-plant/hatchery network, driving collaboration and superior business results.
  2. Establish standardized KPIs to drive organizational performance, identifying opportunities through weekly and monthly reviews.
  3. Apply business insights and knowledge to inform sound decision-making within operational activities.
  4. Improve reporting and tools to enable better decision-making and collaboration across functions.
  5. Identify opportunities to optimize temporary labor usage and reduce overtime costs.
  6. Lead the review and proposal of structure overtime reduction in each site operation.
  7. Provide guidance and insights to drive simplification and reduction of data reports across the Operations Network.
  8. Support and facilitate Leadership Standard Work – Continuous Improvement tracking.
  9. Use disciplined analysis, modeling, and forecasting to inspire superior performance.
  10. Collaborate with Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance leaders to manage operating costs and drive operational excellence.
  11. Lead Loss Analysis across the Operations and Supply Planning Network.
  12. Develop a Robust On-boarding and Training program for Operations Leaders – Supervisors to VPs.
Requirements
  1. BA/BS in Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain management or related field.
  2. Relevant post-secondary education in business, engineering or finance with an accounting designation – CPA or MBA is preferred.
  3. 10 years plus experience in a manufacturing environment within the Consumer Packaged Goods industry is preferred.
  4. Demonstrated solid business acumen and sound decision-making skills.
  5. Thoroughness, curiosity, and attention to detail.
  6. Experience with an ERP system and strong computer skills including advanced spreadsheet modeling.
  7. Travel required as per business need.
