Director, Site Performance Management

Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer for Sofina Canada, the Director, Operations Performance plays a pivotal role in driving superior performance and business excellence across the organization in North America. This key leader is responsible for developing, implementing, and adopting a continuous improvement focus, resulting in superior business results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop standardized daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs to drive organizational performance, identifying opportunities through weekly and monthly reviews.
  • Review and revise workforce plans/crew guides for each site, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Support automation projects by developing business cases and assessing impacts on workforce plans.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize the use of temporary labor against permanent labor needs, driving efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Lead the review and proposal of structure overtime reduction in each site operation, minimizing waste and maximizing productivity.
  • Provide guidance and insights to drive simplification, elimination, combination, and reduction of data/multiple data reports across the Operations Network, enhancing decision-making capabilities.
  • Use disciplined analysis, modeling, and forecasting to inspire and drive superior performance, informing strategic business decisions.
  • Continuously improve performance reporting and decision-making methodology to support the growing business, ensuring data-driven insights.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance leaders to manage operating costs and drive operational excellence, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Lead Loss Analysis across the Operations and Supply Planning Network, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Develop a robust On-boarding and Training program for Operations Leaders – Supervisors to VPs, ensuring a seamless transition and effective knowledge transfer.
Requirements:
  • BA/BS in Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain management, or related field.
  • Relevant post-secondary education in business, engineering, or finance with an accounting designation – CPA or MBA preferred.
  • Demonstrated solid business acumen and sound decision-making skills, with experience in ERP systems and advanced spreadsheet modeling.
