About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Carpenter to join our team at Argcon Group Inc. as a Construction and Renovation Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful completion of construction and renovation projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Execution
    • Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
    • Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Construction and Renovation
    • Lead and manage construction and renovation teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
    • Oversee the installation of building systems, including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC.
    • Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Quality Control and Assurance
    • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality workmanship and compliance with project requirements.
    • Identify and address any quality issues or defects promptly.
  • Team Management and Development
    • Lead, motivate, and develop a team of skilled tradespeople to achieve project goals.
    • Provide training and coaching to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in construction and renovation.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
    • Excellent project management and leadership skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced construction and renovation environment, with frequent travel to various project sites. The work environment will be physically demanding, with regular exposure to noise, dust, and other hazards.
