About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Consultant to join our team at VISAY TECHNOLOGIES INC. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for providing expert advice on information systems strategy, policy, management, and service delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Confer with clients to identify their security requirements and develop tailored solutions to meet their needs.
  • Assess physical and technical security risks to data, software, and hardware, and develop policies and procedures to minimize the effects of security breaches.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures throughout the software development life cycle, ensuring the highest level of security and compliance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate security risks, and ensure the delivery of secure and reliable products and services.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, threats, and technologies, and apply this knowledge to improve our security posture.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a cybersecurity role, with a strong background in security risk assessment, policy development, and implementation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate complex security risks.
  • Proficiency in security tools and technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption.
