About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacy Manager to join our team at Neighbourly Pharmacy in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. As a Pharmacy Manager, you will be responsible for providing safe, effective, and appropriate drug therapy, and actively contributing to an environment of employee and customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Focus on clinical services, including medication reviews, disease state management, and patient education
  • Initiate care plans, follow up, and document patient progress
  • Administer vaccines and determine appropriateness of drug therapy
  • Monitor medication adherence and collect relevant patient, drug, and disease information
  • Recommend OTC products and vitamins, and answer questions from patients requiring therapeutic knowledge
  • Supervise a pharmacy student or provisional pharmacist in the performance of restricted activities

Requirements:

  • Licensed and in good standing with the College of Pharmacists of Saskatchewan
  • Minimum 1 year of prior experience as a Pharmacy Manager (preferred)
  • Possess entrepreneurial abilities and a willingness to grow the business
  • Ability to lead, coach, and encourage staff, and collaborate with front-store staff to find possibilities for patient care
  • Good verbal and written communication skills, strong organizational skills, and attention to detail
  • Self-directed and able to work independently, with excellent customer service skills and a strong sense of professionalism
