We are seeking a highly skilled Solutions Architect to join our team at Altis Technology. As a key member of our digital health team, you will play a critical role in designing and delivering sophisticated IT solutions in the digital health space.

Your expertise in digital health IT standards and technologies will enable you to excel in conceptualizing and delivering innovative solutions that drive interoperability and improve patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Document Interoperability Solutions: Develop modular interoperability components and solutions that align with strategic objectives.
  • Lead Technical Design: Guide the development of backend and frontend initiatives and Reference Architecture using the Shared pan-Canadian Interoperability Roadmap.
  • Engage with Industry Events: Collaborate with industry stakeholders to co-design interoperability products and solutions.
  • Collaborate with Jurisdictional Teams: Work with jurisdictional architecture teams to identify needs and drive interoperability solutions.
  • Provide Leadership: Offer technical leadership in application, security, and infrastructure architecture strategies.
  • Deliver Scalable Solutions: Develop and deliver scalable, secure, and high-quality software solutions based on pan-Canadian specifications.
  • Contribute to Software Lifecycle: Participate in all phases of the software lifecycle, including design, development, testing, and implementation.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: 10+ years of experience in system architecture, solution design, and deployment for complex systems.
  • Technical Skills: Expertise in RESTful APIs, microservices, cloud-native solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP), and front-end technologies (e.g., WASM, JS, HTTP).
  • Cloud Architect Experience: Essential experience in cloud architecture, with certification a plus.
  • Strong Collaboration Skills: Ability to manage diverse stakeholders and resolve conflicting priorities.
