Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of field service technicians, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve service delivery, quality, and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with other department heads to ensure that company goals and objectives are met.
  • Provide training and guidance to junior technicians, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to technicians, identifying areas for improvement and developing plans to address any issues.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of technician performance, including attendance, quality of work, and customer feedback.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations and company standards.
  • Provide input on technician recruitment, selection, and training, ensuring that the team has the necessary skills and expertise to meet business needs.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in field supervision or management, preferably in the fire protection industry.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret and apply industry regulations and company policies.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and quality service delivery.
  • Strong technical knowledge of fire alarm and sprinkler systems, with the ability to interpret and apply industry regulations and company policies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, with the ability to maintain accurate records and reports.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Relevant certifications in fire protection or safety, such as ASTT BC or NFPA.
