Job Title: API Automation Test Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled API Automation Test Analyst to join our team at Nexus Systems Group Inc.

Job Summary:

The API Automation Test Analyst will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated tests for our API applications. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design and develop automated tests for API applications using tools such as Selenium, TestNG, and LogBack.
  2. Execute automated tests and report defects to the development team.
  3. Collaborate with the development team to identify and prioritize test cases.
  4. Develop and maintain test data and test scripts.
  5. Conduct exploratory testing to identify defects that may not be caught by automated tests.
  6. Design and develop test strategies and plans.
  7. Align test cases to requirements and user stories.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. 3+ years of experience in architecting and building automated testing frameworks.
  2. 2+ years of experience in tools such as Selenium, TestNG, LogBack, and Java language.
  3. 2+ years of experience in Postman.
  4. Familiarity with the concept of in-sprint automation and integrating test scripts with DevOps tools like Jenkins, Artifactory.
  5. 2+ years of experience in SQL Query and SQL Developer for database testing.
Nice-to-Have Skills:

We are looking for candidates with experience in:

  1. Familiarity with SaaS and cloud-based operating model.
  2. Experience in performing accessibility testing activities.
  3. Experience in AEM Authoring Testing.
  4. Experience in Cross browser and devices testing with Selenium Grid, BrowserStack, SourceLabs etc.
  5. Experience in JIRA/Confluence.
  6. Bitbucket/Git suite and managing test cases, test plans using Jira plugins like X-ray or Zephyr.
Soft Skills:

  2. Proactive attitude and eager to learn.
  3. Organization and accuracy.
Education:

A Post-Secondary degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or related field is required.
