Job SummaryThis is a critical role that requires a high level of skill and experience in operating heavy equipment, particularly Derrick Digger trucks. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of hoisting and rigging procedures, as well as knowledge of shallow utilities and construction processes.
Key Responsibilities- Operate Derrick Digger trucks in a safe and efficient manner.
- Perform pre-trip and hazard assessment checks on equipment and the job site.
- Assist crews with other physical tasks as required.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A High School Diploma or equivalent.
- A Class 3 driver's license with air brakes endorsement, or higher.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience operating Derrick Digger trucks.
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and load securement.
