About the Role:

Pyarali Somani is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Support Worker to join our team. As a Home Support Worker, you will provide essential care and support to our clients in their own homes, promoting their independence and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer bedside and personal care to clients, ensuring their comfort and dignity.
  • Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, considering clients' dietary needs and preferences.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, maintaining a safe and healthy environment.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, engaging in activities that promote their mental and emotional well-being.
  • Assist clients with medication management, ensuring they take their medications as prescribed.
  • Shop for food and household supplies, maintaining a well-stocked pantry and fridge.

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Will train for the role.
  • Ability to work in a non-smoking environment.
  • Availability to work in an urban area, with optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis.
  • Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
