About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Diesel Technician/Mechanic II to join our team at CB Canada. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our fleet of vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair complex issues with diesel engines, transmissions, and other vehicle systems
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements
  • Inspect and repair or replace damaged or worn-out parts, including engines, transmissions, and differentials
  • Work with lead technicians and maintenance supervisors to prioritize and complete repairs in a timely manner
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and regulations
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in diesel engine repair and maintenance
  • Current driver's license class G or class 5, with the ability to obtain class DZ within 6 months
  • Basic computer skills for data entry into maintenance systems
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with regular attendance and punctuality
  • Specialized training in diesel engine repair and maintenance is an asset
