About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team at 7133081 Manitoba Ltd. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Cash Register: Accurately process transactions, handle customer payments, and maintain a clean and organized cash handling area.
  • Process Transactions: Handle cash, cheques, and credit/debit card payments, and reconcile daily/shift payments with total sales.
  • Stock Shelves and Clean Counter Area: Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including restocking shelves and cleaning the counter area.
  • Provide Customer Service: Greet customers, respond to customer inquiries, and resolve customer complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Assist Customers with Self-Checkout: Provide assistance to customers using self-checkout, and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Verify Customer Age: Verify the age of customers when selling lottery tickets, alcohol, or tobacco products.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a retail sales environment.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, 30 to 40 hours per week.
  • Language: English.
