Job Summary

MSS MACHINING & FABRICATION INC. is seeking a skilled Machine Setup Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for setting up and operating conventional and computer-controlled machine tools to produce high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Compute dimensions and tolerances of machine parts to ensure accurate production
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables to understand production requirements
  • Set up and adjust production machinery and tools to meet production needs
  • Fabricate and assemble components and machine parts to close tolerance
  • Verify dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments
Work Environment

As a Machine Setup Specialist, you will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. You will be required to work under pressure and handle heavy loads. You must have excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination to perform your duties effectively.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Efficient interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility and reliability
  • Ability to work in a team environment
