Architectural Project Manager Opportunity

A top architecture and planning firm is seeking an experienced Architectural Project Manager to lead teams on complex multi-unit residential mid to high rise projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record working as an APM with a reputable firm on large scale high-rise projects, with strong references from Principals and co-workers. The successful candidate will possess a collaborative leadership style that fosters growth and inclusivity, while holding people accountable for timeline and budget constraints.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead teams of technologists, interns & junior architects on large scale multi-unit mid to high rise projects
  • Manage projects from initial concept designs through tender and construction phases
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Provide mentorship and coaching to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge

Requirements
  • Master of Architecture, Bachelor of Architecture; or Architectural Technology Diploma from a recognized institution
  • 10-15 years of experience working as an architectural professional within a multi-disciplinary architectural firm
  • 4+ years as a Project Lead or Architectural PM
  • Strong Revit skills and experience working with building codes in Canada
  • Ability to lead early stages of concept design and provide mark-ups and mentorship to team members
  • Experience dealing with building permits, SPAs, rezoning; submittals to clients, overseeing client reporting as well as comfort with contract administration
