We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Compass Group Canada.
Job Summary:The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that high-quality food and exceptional customer service are delivered to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish and implement efficient work schedules to meet business needs
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, providing guidance and training as needed
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Prepare and submit reports on food service operations, including inventory management and customer feedback
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to prepare and portion food, ensuring timely delivery to customers
- Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner
- Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
- Develop and implement strategies to improve food service operations and customer satisfaction
- 1-2 years of experience in food service management or a related field
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in hospitality or a related field an asset
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Basic security clearance required
