About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Analyst to support our Mergers and Acquisitions team in Edmonton or Vancouver. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting industry and company research, preparing financial models, and assisting with business development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct and summarize industry and company research to support transaction mandates
  • Develop and review financial models, including forecasts and earnings analyses, discounted cash flows, and merger models
  • Assist with business development initiatives, including market mapping and target company research
  • Prepare client progress reports and maintain target lists in our project management system
  • Support the senior deal team in Edmonton or Vancouver, servicing clients across Western Canada
Requirements
  • Qualified CPA or successful completion of the CFE
  • Enrolled or interested in the CBV program, with the expectation of obtaining the CBV designation
  • Experience analyzing company financial statements and preparing financial models
  • Experience with mid-market transactions, including investment banking, corporate finance, and/or transaction services preferred
