The Sales Coordinator will play a crucial role in supporting the Corporate and Field Sales teams by providing exceptional administrative support throughout the sales cycle. This includes coordinating schedules, filing important documents, and communicating relevant information to ensure seamless sales and marketing activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate sales team activities, including managing schedules, filing documents, and communicating information.
  • Plan and organize industry events, such as trade shows, workshops, and summits, to showcase SECURE's expertise and build relationships with clients.
  • Compose and distribute customer communications, ensuring timely and effective engagement.
  • Ensure the accuracy of sales-related materials, including reports, presentations, and proposals.
  • Support the sales team in assembling responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), reviewing and renewing contracts, and other written sales submissions.
  • Monitor team progress, identify areas for improvement, and propose solutions to enhance sales performance.
  • Conduct market, geographic, and competitor analysis for existing service lines to inform sales strategies.
  • Ensure leads and inquiries are distributed to the appropriate sales representative or business unit.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures.

Occasional Responsibilities

  • Promotional Products Provide support for company-wide promotional products, including sourcing, purchasing, distribution, and PO creation/receiving. Ensure all products meet SECURE's brand guidelines.
  • Events/Conferences/Trade Shows Plan and coordinate client events, trade shows, and industry events. Plan internal conferences and training for sales staff.
  • Marketing Collateral/Sales Knowledge Point Maintain and update the Sales Knowledge Point site as needed. Ensure proper access is granted to employees. Provide updated information to Communications for marketing collateral. Assist in creating new material as needed by the sales group.
  • Reporting Report on sales initiatives and customer engagement, including dashboard creation and maintenance, ad-hoc reports, and scheduled reporting. Report on relevant Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) metrics for clients or internal use. Create and maintain other data, regular reporting, or ad-hoc.
  • Financial Create requisitions, purchase orders, and receipts. Complete cheque requests for sales groups.

Qualifications and Competencies

  • 2-5 years of administration and support experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
  • Proven experience in sales, with experience as a sales coordinator or in other administrative positions considered an asset.
  • High proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience with a sales-based CRM is an asset.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • High standards of discretion, ethics, and confidentiality to handle sensitive corporate and personal information and matters.
  • Ability to exercise good judgment, show initiative, and be proactive.
  • Positive, self-motivated, and energetic team player attitude with a willingness to work independently in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work under pressure.
  • Understanding of the principles, methods, and strategies used for promoting and selling services considered an asset.
  • Strong commitment to safety.
