Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Restaurant Assistant Manager to join our team at Subway. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant, providing exceptional customer service, and leading a team of dedicated staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cash Handling and Inventory Management: Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms. Organize and maintain inventory to ensure efficient stock levels.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations, ensuring our restaurant operates within the law.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns, providing a positive experience and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Team Leadership: Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations, leading a team of staff to achieve our goals.
  • Marketing and Supplier Negotiations: Participate in marketing plans and implementation, negotiating arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree and 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Personal Suitability: Excellent oral communication, organized, reliable, and a team player.

Work Environment: 40 hours per week, permanent position, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service and leading a high-performing team.
