Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Content Specialist to join our marketing team at Fraser River Lodge, a premier destination in the heart of nature.

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced professional to make an immediate impact and contribute to the lodge's exceptional guest experiences.

As a Digital Content Specialist, you will play a key role in enhancing our brand presence and driving engagement across social media platforms.

  • Develop and implement effective social media strategies aligned with our marketing objectives.
  • Manage our online presence on Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
About the Role

In this maternity leave coverage position, you will have the flexibility to adapt to shifting priorities while staying up-to-date with digital trends.

Key responsibilities include creating high-quality content (written, photo, video) for all social channels, capturing the essence of Fraser River Lodge's scenic views, events, and guest experiences.

  • Write compelling captions, posts, and marketing materials that reflect our unique voice and tone.
  • Collaborate with designers to produce eye-catching visuals for campaigns and promotions.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • At least 2 years of experience in social media management and content creation.
  • Proficiency with tools like Later, Adobe Suite, Canva, or CapCut.
  • A deep understanding of SEO best practices for content.
  • Knowledge of Google Ads and press relations is an asset.
  • A passion for hospitality, nature, and connecting with diverse audiences.
