Composite Paint Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Composite Paint Technician to join our team at Airbus Helicopters Canada Ltd. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for applying paint to composite or metallic panels in accordance with Airbus Helicopters process specifications.

Main Responsibilities
  • Apply primer and top paint to composite panels in a controlled paint booth environment.
  • Ensure dust and contaminants are removed from parts using compressed air or chemical wipes.
  • Perform painting using spray guns in accordance with Airbus Helicopters predefined process.
  • Inspect painted parts for imperfections and ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Maintain equipment and tools, including spray guns and breathable air hoods.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 3 years of paint experience is an asset.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and follow instructions.
  • Attention to detail and ability to meet quality standards.
  • Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and work in a controlled paint booth environment.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent, full-time position with a rotating shift schedule. Annual medical is required. Must be able to legally work in Canada.
