About The Barrel

We are a dynamic and growing company seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sanitation and Cleaning
    • Ensure all areas of the facility are clean and well-maintained, including hallways, floors, and stairs.
    • Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove debris and dirt.
    • Wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Maintenance and Repairs
    • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems.
    • Contact tradespersons for major repairs and maintenance.
    • Perform minor repairs on appliances and equipment.
  • Physical Demands
    • Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies as needed.
    • Perform other routine maintenance jobs, such as painting and drywall repair.
    • Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures to maintain a clean and safe environment.
    Requirements
    • Education
      • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • Experience
      • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a maintenance or facilities role.
    • Work Environment
      • Urban area.
      • Restaurant or similar environment.
    • Physical Capabilities
      • Ability to perform repetitive tasks.
      • Ability to handle heavy loads.
      • Physically demanding role.
      • Ability to bend, crouch, and kneel.
    • Weight Handling
      • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
