The Property Management is seeking a skilled Building Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  • Contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment.
  • Conduct safety and security checks to ensure a secure environment for our tenants.
  • Supervise other workers and provide guidance on maintenance tasks.
  • Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair.
  • Work with minimal supervision and take initiative to complete tasks efficiently.
  • Maintain inventory of supplies and ensure that all necessary materials are on hand.

Requirements

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field or equivalent experience.

Work Environment

  • Permanent position with regular working hours.
  • 40 hours per week with occasional overtime as needed.
  • English language required for communication with tenants and colleagues.
