NORTHERN LIGHTING is seeking an Electrical Systems Engineer to join our team. As an Electrical Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting feasibility, design operation and performance research of electrical generation and distribution networks. You will also supervise technicians, technologists, programmers, analysts and other engineers, and prepare material cost and timing estimates, reports and design specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct feasibility, design operation and performance research of electrical generation and distribution networks
  • Supervise technicians, technologists, programmers, analysts and other engineers
  • Prepare material cost and timing estimates, reports and design specifications
  • Design electrical and electronic components, systems and equipment
  • Supervise and inspect the installation and operation of electrical and electronic systems and equipment
  • Develop maintenance and operating standards for electrical and electronic systems and equipment
  • Investigate electrical or electronic failures
  • Set up and operate specialized and standard test equipment to diagnose, test and analyze the performance of electrical and electronic components, assemblies and systems
