Key Responsibilities- Provide overall leadership and direction to the University's digital transformation strategy, partnering with campus stakeholders to develop and implement frameworks for effective technology management.
- Oversee vendor management, drive systems renewal, and integrate the digital learning environment to enhance the student experience and research enterprise.
- Champion the academic community, ensuring technology solutions align with UPEI's academic mission.
- Lead a team of IT professionals, collaborating with academic leaders to guide digital transformation and technological capabilities.
The ideal candidate will possess a Master's degree in IT or a relevant field, with experience as a strategic information technology leader. They will have a demonstrated track record of effective relationship-building, preferably in a higher education setting, and possess deep knowledge of IT infrastructure, enterprise systems, vendor management, data governance, and cybersecurity.
