Hotel Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hotel Manager to join our team at Southfort Inn. As a Hotel Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management of the hotel, including daily operations, staff supervision, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and Implement Policies and Procedures: Create and implement policies and procedures for daily hotel operations, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulations.
- Negotiate with Suppliers: Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best possible rates for materials and supplies, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality.
- Front Desk Duties: Perform front desk duties, including checking-in guests, handling customer complaints, and providing excellent customer service.
- Budgeting and Financial Management: Prepare and manage budgets, monitor revenues and expenses, and make informed financial decisions to ensure the hotel's financial stability.
- Maintenance and Facilities: Oversee maintenance activities, ensure the hotel's facilities are well-maintained, and address any issues promptly.
- Staff Supervision: Supervise and train hotel staff, ensuring they meet company standards and provide excellent customer service.
- Computer and Technology Knowledge: Utilize MS Excel and MS Office to manage hotel operations, analyze data, and make informed decisions.
- Education: College/CEGEP degree in a related field.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in hotel management or a related field.
- Work Setting: Hotel, motel, or resort environment.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, attention to detail, and ability to work in a team.
- Personal Suitability: Client focus, flexibility, initiative, and ability to work in a permanent position.
