Job Title: Business Analyst - Intermediate

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our team at Maarut Inc. As a Business Analyst, you will play a key role in analyzing business needs and developing solutions to drive business growth and improvement.

Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with clients to understand their business objectives and challenges, and develop solutions to address these needs.
  • Conduct business analysis to identify areas for improvement and develop recommendations for process enhancements.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement business solutions.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses to support business cases.
  • Develop and maintain business cases and proposals to support business initiatives.
  • Provide training and support to end-users on new business processes and systems.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure the company remains competitive.
Requirements:
  • Experience with Agile project methodology and Jira/DevOps.
  • Experience transposing requirements into coherent user stories.
  • In-depth knowledge of database management systems (e.g. SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL).
  • Ability to write complex queries, joins, subqueries, and use SQL functions.
  • Experience with Microsoft Power Platform App.
  • Experience with business system technologies to provide technical expertise and advice.
  • Experience with design, develop, test, and implement systems solutions, and evaluate software.
  • Experience with advanced application prototyping.
  • Knowledge of front-end web-based technologies and ability to prepare feasibility studies, requirements definition, analysis, prototyping, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance.
  • Experience documenting product acceptance criteria.
  • Knowledge of emerging IT trends and technologies.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Accessibility for Ontarians with Disability Act (AODA) and related regulations and standards.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Azure DevOps.
  • Experience with Computer Aided Software Engineering (CASE) tools.
  • Experience with project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
  • Knowledge of Systems Development Life Cycle Methodologies and Agile project methodology.
